Successful Commissioning of Diesel Generator Paralleling System in Philippines

Entrusted by our client, a technical team of three from our company arrived in Mindanao, Philippines on June 8.

The primary purpose of this visit was to parallel our supplied diesel generator set with the client's existing two 531KVA and one 1250KVA Caterpillar generator sets, and to complete load-sharing commissioning. The project owner is the largest hospital in the region.

Given the hospital's special environment, the diesel generator sets are required to meet four key criteria: "absolute power supply reliability, extremely rapid start-up, safe and quiet operation, and sufficient fuel reserves."

Our supplied generator set has a rated power output of 1000KW, powered by a Cummins KTA50-G3 engine, paired with a Leroy-Somer LSA50.2M6 alternator, and equipped with a ComAp IG4200 parallel controller.

Our technical team carefully inspected the system architecture of each existing unit, successfully completed communication debugging among the units, and strictly followed testing procedures to sequentially carry out manual no-load paralleling, manual load-sharing paralleling, automatic no-load paralleling, and automatic load-sharing paralleling.

Our technical team completed the commissioning tasks ahead of schedule, earning high praise from both the client and the project owner.
